The XML document uses lowercase for element names and attributes. The case option defaults to lowercase so it is not needed. The XML document uses uppercase for element names and attributes. Option case=upper must be specified.
Rule 5: Tag Names Are Case Sensitive Uppercase and lowercase matter in XML. Opening and closing tags must match exactly. For example, , , and are three different tags.
One way to hide the element is to disabled the particular element using the System. xml file. The instruction below detailed how you edit the applicable system. xml file to hide user interface elements permanently.
XML Tag names cannot contain any of the characters :! #$%()*+,/;? @[\]^`{|}~, nor a space character, and cannot begin with -, ., or a numeric digit. Only the following characters produce error 13640 when the WRITE-XML and WRITEXML-SCHEMA methods are executed: #$% and the space character since OpenEdge 11.6.
SQL Server STUFF() Function The STUFF() function deletes a part of a string and then inserts another part into the string, starting at a specified position.
Inside the tag delimiters, start-tags consist of the element type name and perhaps element attributes; end-tags consist of a / (forward slash) followed by the element type name; and empty-tags begin with the element type name and end with a / (forward slash).
XML elements must follow these naming rules: Element names are case-sensitive. Element names must start with a letter or underscore.
Lower case must be used. The simple element names must not be more than 30 characters in length. This is not the generally accepted recommendation in other XML standards. Because Business Objects are translated into Oracle Objects for use within the database by PL/SQL APIs, all elements are made uppercase by default.
