You can mask the data in the XML format payloads using the tag in the log policy XML file. This table explains the field names for masking the data in an XML payload. Specifies the XPath for the field. The value of this field is masked.
For this example, if you dont want to strip out the whitespaces for all XML elements, you can instead use instead. In the following sections, you will learn about the concept of XML whitespace along with tips to avoid such problems.
When xml:space is used on an element with a value of preserve , the whitespace in that elements content must be preserved as is by the application that processes it.
As per the XML guidelines, the attribute xsl:space=preserve must be added to the tag. The queries below demonstrate XML data that has been loaded into Snowflake. With the added attribute, the parsed version now preserves the leading and trailing spaces in the tag value.
When loading the document, you can set the option to preserve white space and create XmlWhitespace nodes in the document tree. To create white space nodes, set the PreserveWhitespace property to true. If the property is set to false, which is the default, white space nodes are not created.
Insert directly in the XML for a blank you would like to preserve. Android doesnt support keeping the spaces at the end of the string in String. xml file so if you want space after string you need to use this unicode in between the words. It is a unicode space character.
White space introduced through expansion of character references (for example Space = #32; Tab= #9; Newline= #10; ) is preserved on XML open. It is not considered white space per the above rules. For example, if FrameMaker normalizes the following (as appearing in the XML code view):
