all right letamp;#39;s create a new document with command or control and the letter N or you can go to your file menu here and select new from here all right for the width Iamp;#39;m going to do 1920 the height 1080. now for the resolution I want to make sure itamp;#39;s set to 300 and thatamp;#39;s because youamp;#39;re going to find with when youamp;#39;re working with text itamp;#39;s going to be much crisper versus a lower resolution so even if Iamp;#39;m working on a document or project that is going to be mostly for online use I will still use a resolution of 300 and then when Iamp;#39;m ready to post it online I will resize the canvas to the resolution of 72 PPI weamp;#39;re going to go up to image select guides new guide by percent and by default we have horizontal and 50 so we click OK and then we get our guide or not so itamp;#39;s not visible and why is that well we need to go into the view menu here and select show guides to make it visible now we can go back up
