maybe this has happened to you you have some friends over and they ask for the wi-fi password so you tell them oh yeah itamp;#39;s on the bottom of the router or itamp;#39;s a custom password that you set so you go and try to spell it out but the password is so complicated that your friends get so angry they leave and you never speak to them again and theyamp;#39;re not your friends anymore wait a minute that hasnamp;#39;t happened to you guys well anyway what if there was a better way where you didnamp;#39;t have to even tell your friends what the password is but they were still able to connect to your wi-fi hotspot or a guest network that you set up instead you have a simple qr code thatamp;#39;s stuck to the router or maybe you just have it sitting on the table on a piece of paper that way they can just point their phoneamp;#39;s camera at it and it will automatically connect them to the wi-fi hotspot or the guest wi-fi hotspot with no other issues well thatamp;#39;s exactly

Image Overlays Thanks to error correction, information in QR Codes can be recovered even if part of the code is covered or unreadable. This feature allows you to use image overlays to customize the appearance of the QR code. Always test if the code reads correctly with the desired overlay.
QR Code Sizing Recommendations Applying liquid Foil causes it to pool and change shape slightly by nature, negating the precision needed to scan a QR code properly. A visual example of pooling can be found here. We do not recommend using Gloss on their QR Codes, however they do generally tend to work.
When a QR scanner is scanning a QR code, it actually scans these modules independently. This means that if one of the eight squares (or bytes) in the module happens to be covered up, the scanner will render the entire module as unreadable.
You can disguise your QR code as part of an image. Since visual QR codes are customizable, you can add them to the overall picture using the same color scheme. By doing so, you will still be able to maintain the images aesthetic, and users wont notice that you hide a QR code in that image.
QR Code Sizing Recommendations Foil and QR codes are pretty much never a good combination. Applying liquid Foil causes it to pool and change shape slightly by nature, negating the precision needed to scan a QR code properly.
QR code FAQs We dont foil stamp QR codes. Though our foil stamping is precise, variations in the foil could inhibit the QR code from being properly read. We always recommend printed QR codes.
You can etch or engrave them onto wood, metal, glass, acrylic, or even stone. In fact, we implore clients to consider engraving as it boosts QR Code sustainability by eliminating paper from the equation. QR Codes are some of the most versatile marketing and information-sharing tools you can find today.
