What are the best cover dimensions for EPUB?

Ideal dimensions for cover files are 2,560 pixels in height x 1,600 pixels in width. For best quality, particularly on high definition devices, your image should be 2500 pixels in height. Minimum dimensions of 1000 pixels in height and 625 pixels in width.

What is the size of a typical EPUB book?

For average epubs with pictures, the size could be anywhere from two to 10 megabytes. Without pictures the size could vary from about 150 kilobytes to one megabyte, with the average being about 350 kb.

What size should images be for EPUB?

Many Ebooks are read on portable devices with an 8 screen or smaller, so a higher res image will do nothing for them but take up more space in the ebook. So try to keep the image file at 300dpi or around there, and under 1mb.

How do I fix my EPUB cover?
