this is Ryan kc9 oza and today Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to send a picture message using the yaesu camera microphone along with a FTM 400 d so for this demonstration i will be using a simplex frequency i do not tie up a local repeater so you want to make sure that it is in AMS mode and make sure you have the camera microphone and the camera microphone will plug here into the data jack on the front of the radio I have the optional extension cable because this will be going in my mobile shortly and you will also need to make sure that you have a SD card installed so you want to make sure that here on the screen the SD is lit up so that way to make sure you have you know you have SD card loaded up or else it will not let you take pictures and then you need to go into your settings menu so you hold display then you will go to your options USB camera and here it will allow you to choose between your picture size and picture quality so your options for picture size are 320 by 240 and
