Alternative Payee In Document is a field available in the general data selection criteria in the Vendor Master. If this field is enabled the payment technically can be made to anyone who may or may not exist in the Vendor Master.
Acceptable Payees means Borrowers name and any other or substitute payee name provided to the Clearing Bank by the Lender, the Servicer or, with the Lenders written consent, the Borrower as an acceptable payee for Checks to be processed under the Lockbox Service).
Remove a payee in online banking Select the account you wish to remove the recipient from. Select Pay and transfers from the left hand menu. Select Manage payees Select which recipients you would like to delete. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete selected. Select Confirm to complete the deletion.

This means the account name doesnt match the payees name. Double-check the details and request another Confirmation of Payee check, otherwise your money could be sent to the wrong account. When its not possible to match a name, well let you know that the payment could be sent to the wrong account.
Making Payments You need to know someones name if you are going to pay them. For individuals this will be their first name and last name for businesses, ask for the name registered to their bank account.
To make sure payments get to your account safely, the person paying you will need the following information from you: Full first name and surname exactly as it appears on your account. Account number.
