this is the pythonic accountant and today I am here to show you another PDF parsing trick in Python we will be taking a PDF report that was sent to me by one of our viewers so thank you for your submission and it is a 12 page PDF file which has been stripped of the original information and some names and data has been put in and this represents a grouping of vendor names and invoices or credit notes against those vendor names and what weamp;#39;re going to do is weamp;#39;re gonna show you how we can go through and grab the vendor number and vendor name as well as the individual credit note information and invoice information and then export that into a CSV file which can then be opened in CSV or format anywhere or in an excel file so the trick here is to identify when the new lines start with a new vendor name and then after that we need to know when the new credit notes start or when the invoices start in addition to that in order to make sure that weamp;#39;ve got the right numbe

Data saved in CSV will not retain data formatting.
Emojis. Trademark, copyright and other legal symbols. Foreign language characters and logograms, such as Chinese symbols and tilde, etc.
Please be informed that CSV doesnot allow any formatting like Bold, and other formatting. The only possibility is to use the Table tool (in Reporting palette) and you can output in the Excel format to keep the bold reflected in the output extracted.
In Excel: Go to the Data tab. Select in the database icon, Get Data Select from text/ CSV, then pick the CSV export file.
Currently, the TSV/CSV rendering engine doesnt support comments. However, it is common to have comments in CSV files, and popular tools, such as pandas readcsv support ignoring comments. It would be nice if github.com could also support ignoring comments.
The CSV format itself isnt supposed to store colors. You may save your original file in XLSX format and use the Table Spreadsheet macro to import your file. Then your background colors should stay. Or you may color cells right in the macro.
