all right so this is going to be a quick video just to show you our new eotech dust cover its compatible with both the eotech xps and the eotech 512 series of optics so the way you put this on is you put it on there like that you press down it has a small notch inside that basically clips in to this hood section right here to keep the cover on so it it wont come off unless you want it to come off we decided against covering the whole optic just because we found that it was not necessary and would add too much bulk and some people are running magnifiers on the back or or iron sides in the front or in the rear that are really close and we didnt want the cover colliding or causing compatibility issues with those those setups at the end of the day what we really want to protect is the glass of the optic and thats what this is for so youll notice that if you look from the top you have two small wings here and then an arrow on either side pointing upwards and that basically kind of sho
