Once you add the chart legend, there are many things that you can do to change how it looks. Right-click the legend, and then click Font. On the Font tab, make the changes that you want to the font or font size.
The legend displays the elements Name property value as the corresponding items text. To change item text for strips, constant lines, and indicators, specify their LegendText property.
Customize the Legend in a chart Select the chart object. In the Properties pane, under Chart Annotations, double-click the Legend property. To show the legend on the chart, select the Show Legend check box. To choose a preset legend position, click Preset and click a position from the diagram.
A chart legend appears by default when you first create a chart. For most charts, legends show the names and colors of each series of data. The legend text is taken from the charts data range.
Legend size By default, legend takes 20% of the Height horizontally when it was placed on the top or bottom position and 20% of the Width vertically while placing on the left or right position of the chart. You can change this default legend size by using the Size option of the legend.
