- What is this one? - Oh, this? - Uh uh. - This my credo. No regrets. - Everybody makes mistakes, but some of those mistakes tend to be more permanent than others, rather than carrying a shameless reminder of your former self around for eternity. Some people have dreamed up some truly wicked ways to style it out. Whether its turning your exs name or face into a bigger joke than your relationship was, trading in that dated tribal, tan, or just getting a much needed upgrade. Heres some of the most creative tattoo coverups around! First up a classic. The, I got my exs name tattooed in an obvious place on my body because I totally thought it was going to last forever. And then it totally didnt. Im not sure what Mary did to get her name inked on this dudes chest forever, but she mustve done something pretty incredible further down the line to have herself transformed into this instead. I must admit turning that Y into a G and adding the cursive V does look pretty seamless, but ther

How to Remove Ink Stains with Vinegar and Cornstarch Wet with Vinegar. Wet the ink stain with the vinegar. Make a Vinegar-Cornstarch Paste. Create a paste with two parts vinegar and three parts cornstarch and work into the fabric. Let It Dry. Let the paste dry completely. Wash the Garment.
Apply rubbing alcohol, hair spray, or hand sanitizer to dilute the stain, making it easier to remove during the wash. These solvents help tackle most types of ink stains but remember to test the stained garment for colorfastness first as they can also attack fabric dyes and cause further damage.
Blot first with dry, white paper towels and then sponge with rubbing alcohol. For smaller spots, place an absorbent pad under the stain before you do this. For a larger stain, pour the alcohol into a small dish, immerse the stained area and soak for 15 minutes. The ink should begin to dissolve almost instantly.
Steps to remove ink stains from clothes Squirt alcohol-based hand sanitizer on the stain. Use enough to saturate the stain. Apply Liquid Clorox 2 for Colors to the stain. Use the cap to apply the Clorox 2 product directly to the stain and gently rub it in. Machine wash the clothing.
Flush the stain with rubbing alcohol. If its a small stain, place a paper towel under the stain and use an eyedropper to apply rubbing alcohol onto the stain. Blot the stain with a clean paper towel. Rinse and apply a pre-wash stain remover. Check that the ink stain is completely removed.
How do you remove ink after it has dried? Put down a towel you dont mind getting stained, and place the stained garment on top of it. Treat the stain with rubbing alcohol or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or hair spray and let sit for at least 10 minutes before blotting and rinsing with cold water.
Take some baking soda, mix it with warm water and create a paste. Use a damp cloth to spread the paste over the ink stain, and rub back and forth until the ink comes out. Do a final pass over the area with a clean, wet cloth to remove any lingering solution.
Cover the Mistake with White In this case, you can paint over the unwanted ink strokes with white, using any artistic medium at your disposal. After the white covering is completely dry, you can draw with ink on top or just leave the area as it is. Here are some supplies I use: A white acrylic marker.
