To do so: Select the text box, go to the Format tab in the menu bar, click on the Shape Outline option (located usually on the right side of the toolbar). From the dropdown menu select either No Outline or Transparent to remove any visible borders around your text box.
If the page you want to add a border to is in the middle of your document, you must first add section breaks. Go to Design Page Borders. In the Borders and Shading box, design your border: Next, select the arrow to the right of Apply to and choose This section - First page only.
You remove a border by changing the page border setting to None. On the Design tab, choose Page Borders. In the Borders and Shading dialog box, in the Apply to list, choose the page (or pages) you want to remove the border from. Under Setting, choose None.
Select the shape or text box. On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Shape Fill More Fill Colors. In the Colors box, either click the color you want on the Standard tab, or mix your own color on the Custom tab.
Select the pages or paragraphs whose orientation you want to change. Click PAGE LAYOUT Page Setup dialog box launcher. In the Page Setup box, under Orientation, click Portrait or Landscape. Click the Apply to box, and click Selected text.
Open the Layout menu, select Margins and then click on Custom Margins at the bottom of the drop-down menu. This opens the Page Setup dialogue box. In this dialogue box, select the landscape mode in the Orientation section. In the setup box, choose Selected text instead of Whole document.
Remove the border Select the text box or shape. If you want to change multiple text boxes or shapes, click the first text box or shape, and then press and hold Ctrl while you click the other text boxes or shapes. On the Format tab, click Shape Outline, and then click No Outline.
