hi Iamp;#39;m Simone Yakov this presentation is entitled ways to improve wireless power transfer systems the authors are star stitch Caen and Seminyak OOP thatamp;#39;s me and please note that there are some relevant videos in my youtube channel here they are shown here and they are also printed at the page of this video in the YouTube page of this video so what is wireless power transfer we have basically a transmitting antenna we have a receiving antenna thereamp;#39;s a driver hair they never receiver and then this transmitting antenna is generating flux magnetic flux which is coupled to the receiving antenna we are talking about near field type phenomena and therefore we have a defeat ETA change of flux due to the excitation of the driver and then with the receiver can then draw some power from this antenna now the amount the voltage that we develop will depend on the air the effective area are the number of turn and of course DB DT the rate of change of the magnetic flux densit

Far field wireless power transfer systems simply use high power antennas to transmit and the radiation is usually in the RF or microwave range. However, near-field wireless power transfer systems utilise electric and/or magnetic coupling to share energy through the near-field, which is usually done in a resonant mode.
On the contrary, in the radiative or far-field WPT system, the energy is transferred through electromagnetic waves. This methodology can transfer enough power for long distances [4], but, it is not an easy task to transfer power in the far-field, as most of the energy is dissipated into the air. Near-field WPT is usually implemented with inductive resonant coupling, via a loosely-coupled resonant transformer, one of many examples is given in, e.g. [1]. Some capacitive WPT has also been demonstrated, e.g. [2], and most of near- field powering is done in the 100kHz to a few MHz frequency range.
In general, far-field ranges are a better choice for lower frequency antennas and where simple pattern cut measurements are required, and near-field ranges are a better choice for higher frequency antennas and where complete pattern and polarization measurements are required. Near-field vs. Far-field - Keysight Keysight assets reference-guides Keysight assets reference-guides
In the near-field regime, the distance between the source and the receiver is much less than the wavelength. In the far-field regime, the opposite is the case; the distance between the source and receiver is much longer than the wavelength of the emitted radiation. Topology Optimization. Based on the above analysis results, low coupling efficiency under a wide load range and insufficient power capability under a small load value limit the application of the WPT system with an HB inverter. Therefore, a resistance matching network (RMN) is added to improve these issues.
We discussed different methods of WPT, such as inductive power transmission, capacitive power transmission, optical power transmission, and microwave power transmission. The research briefly discusses the applications, challenges, and opportunities of WPT.
In near field or non-radiative techniques, power is transferred over short distances by magnetic fields using inductive coupling between coils of wire, or by electric fields using capacitive coupling between metal electrodes.
