These small mistakes can be fixed with white-out, washi tape, or a sticker. Washi Tape or Stickers With many types of washi tape you can actually write on it with pen or marker so you can cover up the word and start again.
So, grab a white gel pen and carefully color over the mistake. Depending on how dark the color is youre covering, you may need more than one coat in which case, you must wait until the first pass is completely dry before adding more or you will pull the first coat off with the tip of your pen.
Let the mistake dry completely. Dont keep pushing around wet paint in a color you dont want. Paint white paint over your mistake. In the example shown here, our background color got smudged onto our sunflower petals. Let the white dry completely. And paint the area as normal.
The DITA Style Guide provides comprehensive, practical explanations of DITA elements and attributes. Real-world examples and clear recommendations show you how to create consistent, semantically-correct DITA content. A style guide provides advice on the optimal use of approaches, procedures and processes.
To cover up a bad drawing is to waste time overworking something. You can cut out the page. You can glue another piece of paper over it and draw on that or make another drawing and glue that on. You can glue a photo over it or make a collage on top.
Paint Over the Mistake If scraping a mistake off wont work, consider painting over it. Bleed Proof White ink is, after all, basically liquid Wite-Out! If youre working on black cardstock, you might consider using a thick black ink (like Ziller Soot black) or dark acrylic paint to fix mistakes.
