How to Remove Image Metadata on Windows? Find the file you need. Hover the cursor over its icon and right-click. Select Properties from the drop-down menu. In the window that opens, select the Details tab. At the bottom, youll see the Remove Properties and Personal Information link.
If you want to hide data (text, another image, whatever) in a jpeg file, you can simply append it to the end of the file. When the image is viewed, youll only see the original image and your added data will be ignored.
Right-click the file and select Properties in the drop-down menu. Select the Details tab in the Properties window to view metadata.
The second hiding mask makes an area of the JPG blurry. To make the selected content as unrecognizable as possible, you can increase the blur radius in the options. The last method of data hiding is pixelation. With this method, individual photo pixels are replaced with blocks of solid-color pixels.
Copy the file(s) and the image to your desktop. Select the files you want to hide, press Ctrl + C , go to your desktop, and press Ctrl + V , then do the same with the image you want to use. Select the file(s) you want to hide. Click and drag your mouse cursor across the list of files you want to hide.
Steganography using Steghide. Steghide is an open source image steganography tool that uses the least docHub bit (LSB) method to hide data in images. Images are made up of pixels, which are made up of bits. The bit depth determines how many colours are present in an image.
Steganography can be used to hide virtually any type of digital content, including text, image, video, or audio content. That hidden data is then extracted at its destination. Content concealed through steganography is sometimes encrypted before being hidden within another file format.
