Click your insertion point within the text box, text placeholder, shape, or any other slide object where you want to add a cross mark, as shown in Figure 1, below. Now, hold the Alt key while you type 0251 on the number pad of your keyboard to insert an (u circumflex) character (see Figure 2, below).
Highlight the text that you wish to hide and select the Font Color icon from the Font section of the Ribbon. Change the color to the same color as the background of your slide. Your text will now be hidden.
Select the picture (or pictures) that you want to crop. On the PICTURE TOOLS FORMAT tab, click Crop Crop to Shape, and then pick the shape you want.
If the picture requires a graphics filter, PowerPoint may display the red X and indicate that you need to the filter. You may also receive an error message if the existing graphics import filter is missing, corrupted, or incompatible. A missing PowerPoint update may also be the culprit.
To remove double-line strikethrough formatting, select the text, and then go to Home and select Strikethrough twice in the Font group.
Simple shapes Add the image you would like to crop and select it. Go to the Format tab. At the very right, youll find the Crop tool. Go to Crop to Shape. Select the preferred shape e.g. oval. Now you can adjust it, depending on the shape.
Hide objects In the pane, select an item in the list. On the right side of the item, click the open eye button. . This action hides the object. To make the object visible again, just click the closed eye button. .
If you want to show your images in an appealing design, you can mask them to fit into a certain shape. On the Insert tab, click Pictures. Once the image appears on your slide, click it and select the Format picture tab. Click on the Crop option and go to Crop to shape. The selected shape will mask your image.
