Insert a cover page On the Insert tab, click Cover Page. Click a cover page layout from the gallery of options. After you insert a cover page, you can replace the sample text with your own text by clicking to select an area of the cover page, such as the title, and typing your text.
You dont have to start from scratch if you start with a free template from Office.com. Choose from an assortment of templates like calendars, invoices, and budget planning.
Click the worksheet that is displayed with a sheet background. Make sure that only one worksheet is selected. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Delete Background. Delete Background is available only when a worksheet has a sheet background.
Create a watermark Select Insert Header Footer. Tap on the header and on the Header Footer Elements tab on the ribbon, click Picture. Select one of the available options to insert your image. In the header, youll see [Picture]. Tap anywhere outside the header to see the watermark.
On the Layout tab, under Page Setup, click Header Footer. Click Customize Header, and then click the section of the sheet header in which the watermark appears. Select the watermark, and then press DELETE . Click OK, and then click OK to close the Page Setup dialog box.
It looks like a watermark, but dont worry -- that text wont appear on your printed worksheet. That Page 1 is a sign that you are in Page Break Preview, instead of Excels Normal view or Page Layout view.
In short - you cant. break lines are and in what order the pages will be printed. If you dont want the page numbers showing, just go back to normal view.
