What is a comma splice you ask? A comma splice is when two independent clauses are joined together with a comma. This isnamp;#39;t grammatically correct so here are a couple of quick ways to fix them. One, if the sentences are directly related, you can use a semicolon instead. Two, check in a conjunction something like because for as whatever fits, and three use a full stop instead to make two separate sentences. Boom! Too easy! Have fun writing!

Use commas for separators The CSV file format allows you to pick any character as separator. Regardless, stick with the actual comma character ( , ) for separator, as most applications will be compatible with it out of the box.
Trailing commas Saving an Excel file as a CSV file can create extra commas at the end of each row. Trailing commas can result when columns are deleted or column headers removed. When the file is uploaded to Clever, an extra trailing comma will skew subsequent rows of data, preventing them from being processed.
Some of your values may contain comma characters. Surround these values with double quotes ( ) to avoid clashes with the use of commas for separators.
How to convert TIF to CSV Click inside the file drop area to upload TIF file or drag drop TIF file. Click on Convert button. Download link of result files will be available instantly after conversion. You can also send a link to the CSV file to your email address.
Check the CSV format first, usually a CSV can have a separator comma and that can conflict, but an UTF-8 with ; semi-colon, should work just fine. You can always open the file in excel and save again as CSV.
Since a CSV file is a text file separated by commas, you can use any simple text editor to do a search-and-replace to replace the comas with semicolons. The only problem is programs usually cant read semicolon-seperated-values, generally the other most common separator is a return or line-feed character.
