Yes, Microsoft Word has a Wrap text feature that you can use to adjust the way text is displayed within a document. To wrap text in Word, select the text you want to adjust, then click the Layout tab. From there, you can choose the Wrap Text option and select the desired wrapping style.
For Word 2007 and later, just press the key combination Alt+F9. For earlier versions of Word, follow these steps: Open the document where the field codes are displayed.
Go to Settings Masking. Under Masking mode, select a masking mode. Strict: The entire text is masked. Balanced: Only sensitive text is masked.
What to Know Go to Insert Object Microsoft Word Document OK to prepare a new document. Then, paste the source code into that document and save it to automatically embed the code in the first document. You can also use Paste Special to insert a variety of data into a document, including code.
Reveal Formatting The feature commonly touted as Words equivalent to Reveal Codes in earlier versions was the Whats This? button on the Help menu. Click on that (or press Shift+F1), then click in a paragraph, and youd get information about formatting applied both by the style and directly.
Method 1: Using the Keep Source Formatting option Copy your code from your code editor. Right-click in the Word document where you want to paste the code, and select the Paste Options button. In the Paste Options menu, select the Keep Source Formatting option. Click OK to paste the code.
Click File Options Display, and then under Always show these formatting marks on the screen, select the Hidden text check box.
What to Know Temporary reveal: In Word, go to the ribbon and select Home. Choose the Show Formatting Symbols icon to toggle marks on and off. Permanent reveal: In Word, go to the ribbon and select File Options Display. Select Show all formatting marks OK.
