Manage Basic authentication in the Microsoft 365 admin center. In the Microsoft 365 admin center at , go Settings Org Settings Modern Authentication. In the Modern authentication flyout that appears, you can identify the protocols that no longer require Basic authentication.

From the Exchange Admin Center (EAC) Select the server that you wish to Edit using the dropdown menu. Select the Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync (Default Web Site) virtual directory and click Edit. Select Authentication, clear the Basic authentication check box and click Save.
