we dont have the original manuscripts of the New Testament they were they all disappeared within a century Im pretty convinced by copying and copying and copying frequent handling the early church was far more concerned to get the gospel out than they were to do exact copying of the New Testament and that actually is a blessing because they didnt have those kinds of controls and consequently you get copies that are not through just one stream but tons of people all over the place are making these copies so heres heres a man who lives in Corinth hes gonna be visiting Rome and he says hey I I heard Paul Paul wrote a letter to you guys - I want to write that out do you mind if I copy it when I get there sure thats no problem this happened Im sure dozens and dozens of times over and those manuscripts would have lasted as much as 80 90 years but would a fall apart from all these copies being made so we dont have the originals they disappeared and all the copies that we have disagre

Scrolls were made by gluing together papyrus sheets (made from the pith of the papyrus reed) or by sewing together parchment leaves (made from treated and scraped animal skins); they were written in columns and read by shifting the roll backward and forward from some wooden support on one or both ends.
The Old Testament was written between 1500 BC and 400 BC, though many scholars differ on the dates. It was mainly written in Hebrew. In the era of the Old Testament, the writings were categorized into three parts: the law, the prophets, and the writings.
The books of the Bible were initially written and copied by hand on papyrus scrolls. No originals survive. The age of the original composition of the texts is therefore difficult to determine and heavily debated.

The Bible can be broken into several categories of writing. Approximately 43% of the Bible is made up of narrative, from historical narrative to parables. Roughly 33% of the Bible is poetry, including songs, reflective poetry, and the passionate, politically resistant poetry of the prophets.
The Hebrew Scriptures were written with an iron pen-like object, possibly on stone or lead (Job 19:24). Clay and leather parchments were also used. New Testament manuscripts probably were written originally with reed pens on pressed sheets of papyrus fibers. Papyrus was common and inexpensive.
The writings are of four types: Gospels, acts of the apostles, epistles, and apocalypse. The New Testament contains four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These books tell the stories about Jesus life, ministry, and death.
