One of the biggest additions that Im really excited about is our ability to execute a distributed trace from the UI. When youre dealing with a distributed database, obviously, the complexities of how your data is stored, and retrieved, and when you execute a query, can mean that it isnt always very obvious why youre getting the performance youre getting. So, if youre lets say building an application on top of Cockroach, and you run a test, and youre seeing some slow performance, perhaps, you track it down to the database level, it can still be difficult to determine exactly whats going on inside of your cluster.
