Each file name should convey enough information for you to easily determine what each photo is. Youll likely want to include the date and client name in each file. You may also add a descriptor for an event. If you edited a photograph, applied filters, or whatever else, youll likely want to include a description.
Include the main subject or event being photographed. After listing the date that an image was taken, include the subject or main event taking place in the photo. Keep descriptions to 2-3 words and try to use the same keywords for photos from the same event.
I hereby grant permission to (your librarys name) to use photographs and/or video of me taken on (date) at (location) in publications, news releases, online, and in other communications related to the mission of (your library or institutions name). Thank you!
Your title can be a description of the scene, the verb inside, or just the name of the subject, but with your ability of adding a Beauty note to it. Choosing these kind of titles should be easier and straight forward.
By signing this release I understand this permission signifies that photographic or video recordings of me may be electronically displayed via the Internet or in the public educational setting. I will be consulted about the use of the photographs or video recording for any purpose other than those listed above.
The classic convention for titling an image is to identify the subject (name the person, place or thing) and add the date of creation: if its a photograph use the date of exposure; if its a painting use the date of completion; if its a composite photograph default to the latter; if its an image of a historic event
First and foremost, a good title is a descriptive one. But, theres a caveat to that! You dont want the title to be too descriptive because thats the job of the photograph. It should be something that, like the photograph itself, sparks interest and draws viewers in.
If you can, use a soft lead pencil to write informationincluding whos in a photo, the date it was taken, the occasion, and where it was takenon the back of a photograph (where the information will never become separated from the image). Soft lead is important because hard lead pencils will leave an indentation.
