When using a spreadsheet, it is recommended to use the tab key to move to the right and hit return to go to the next row. Be cautious as typing in a cell will override the existing content, so use control z to undo. To edit text instead of replacing it, double click on the cell to enter editing mode. The function bar can also be used to edit text.
