okay so an important thing to include when youre instilling tube feeds medications flushes etc is you want to actually track the the ins and outs on an intake and output record sheet this is just a sample of the HSC version different facilities have slightly different takes on it but it generally is the same principle so per hour were gonna indicate how much to feed volume we instilled or administered so in our example our patient was running 20 MLS per hour of to feed for four hours then we increased it to 30 we did 20 MLS of h2o or water flushes every four hours so were gonna indicate those and say we had to interrupt the two feet to give medications with 60 ml flushes etc wed want to include that on here too so that we have a total intake balance thats thats accurate for the client so thats pretty much it for this intake and output sheet but just an important thing to include with tube feed
