I hate these self-evaluations, but Josh says, We have evaluations coming up at work which involve a self evaluation. How should you go about evaluating yourself? Giving yourself a low ranking would not be good of course, because then you are saying that you dont believe you are actually doing well at the job, but if you give yourself high rankings on everything it feels to me like you may come off as arrogant. Is the best approach to give more rankings in the middle area (3-4)? Theres a couple of ways you can go with this. Heres what I would recommend. Well, okay, you know if you suck. If you suck, you cant do this, right? If youre not really working really hard and youre not really good and youre not doing a good job dont give yourself super high ratings.
