When using WPS Spreadsheet to write a statistical data report, you can emphasize cell data by filling it with background color and pattern. To do this, select the desired cells (such as B3 through G3), click on the "Home" tab, then click on "Settings" and finally "Cells". Alternatively, you can use the shortcut key "Ctrl + 1" to open the "Format Cells" dialog box. In the dialog box, click on "Patterns" and choose a pure color to fill the cell in the background color area. If the desired color is not available, you can click on "More Colors" and select from multiple color choices provided by WPS Office. To add a gradient effect to a cell selection, open the "Format Cells" dialog box and click on "Fill Effects". In this dialog box, you can set gradient colors (Color 1 and Color 2). After determining the colors, you can also set the shading styles and variant of the gradient fill in a sample area.
