So we translate 11010 to mean 1 sixteen, 1 eight, 0 fours, 1 two, and 0 ones, or, again, 1 * 2^4 + 1 * 2^3 + 0 * 2^2 + 1 * 2^1 + 0 * 2^0. To see what 11010 is in the decimal numbers we know and love, we can reeevaluate this in base 10: 16 + 8 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 26.
Therefore, the binary equivalent of decimal number 511 is 111111111.
Binary number 000000+0+0+07001110+0+4+2+18010000+8+0+0+09010010+8+0+0+110010100+8+0+2+026 more rows
1111 in binary is 10001010111. Unlike the decimal number system where we use the digits 0 to 9 to represent a number, in a binary system, we use only 2 digits that are 0 and 1 (bits). We have used 11 bits to represent 1111 in binary.
Adding 0 and 1, we get 1 (no carry). That means the last digit of the answer will be one. Then we move one digit to the left: adding 1 and 1 we get 10. Hence, the answer is 101.
If they exceed 255, 2 bytes are used instead of 1. Just like using 2 digits when writing 10 instead of 9.
The smallest 8-bit binary number (in the encoding most often used for representing colors) is 00000000, which represents zero, while the largest is 11111111, which represents 255.
Therefore, the decimal number 255 in binary can be represented as 11111111.
