hey hi guys welcome back to admin 365 and today we are going to talk about the issue where the ost file exceeds 49 gigabytes and it stops outlook to receive new email so we have a workaround to fix this issue and uh it will require us to perform few steps in outlook itself and as well as the directory where it stores all uh all the outlook data itself so to begin with lets open the outlook and in outlook if we have multiple shared mailboxes we will have the issue with where we have the ost file exceeding 49 gigabytes so if you have multiple share mailbox attached to the primary account which is for example admin here you just have to perform few steps here in the outlook itself so to begin with lets go here on file account settings account settings we will click twice on the account here itself and we will go to more settings advanced and we will uncheck this option so uh this will stop the outlook to download the shared mailbox or any users mailbox on which the primary mailbox has
