The following should ideally be included when you share an award on your resume: The name of the award. Date or year received. Who gave the recognition? The reason for the award. Context of the award (scope / frequency)
The best replacement word for Awarded on a resume could be Recognized. This word implies that your achievements were acknowledged by others in your field. For example, instead of saying Awarded Employee of the Month, you could say Recognized as Employee of the Month.
When it comes to resume/rsum, dictionaries agree that both spellings are correct. The Associated Press Stylebook prefers resume, while the Chicago Manual of Style calls for retaining the accents in loanwords, so it prefers rsum. Neither resume spelling is wrong, so you can go either way.
Besides including each references contact information (name, phone number, email), provide some additional context by including their job title and the company they work for. You should also explain how you know the person, such as Person A was my supervisor for three years at Company X.
Here are the details you should always provide about awards on your resume: The award name. Date/year received. The purpose of the award, and the reason you won. The scale of the award (For example, how many nominees were there, or was the competition regional or international?)
Add your score under skills or accomplishments/honors. Prepare a section of your resume listing key hard and soft skills, including your SAT score.
Mention your biggest accomplishments in your resume summary. You should include the name of the scholarship, the organization that awarded it, the date it was awarded, why it was awarded to you, and the dollar amount. You can either include it in the education section or in a separate awards section.
How to Format Your Certifications Add the title of the certification. List the full title of the certificate underneath the section header as a bullet point. Include the name of the awarding organization. List the date you earned your certification. List the date your certification expires. Provide details (optional).
