Your home inkjet printer is set up to receive sRGB images by default. And even commercial printing labs will usually expect you to save your images in the sRGB color space. For all of these reasons, docHub decided it was best to set Photoshops default RGB working space to sRGB. After all, sRGB is the safe choice.
Check complete file Step 1: open file and choose color mode. Open the document in docHub Photoshop and ensure that the file is in the correct color mode (CMYK). Step 2: color settings. Go to edit color settings or use the key combination Shift + Ctrl + k. Step 3: set the maximum ink coverage.
(It is also often called total area coverage or TAC.) So a 240% TAC means there shouldnt be any place on your page that has more than 240% total inkwhich can happen pretty quickly in dark shadows where there is a lot of black ink.
Go to the black color channel of the Selective Color adjustment and enter these values to start: C: -8, M: -8, Y: -8, K: +4. Then check the total ink to see if its below the maximum for your print job. If not, reduce the C, M, and Y and increase the black further.

A simple way to fix this is in Photoshop, to choose Edit Color Settings. Click on CMYK in working spaces, choose custom CMYK then reduce your total ink limit to 250, choose ok, then ok again. Now convert to cmyk by clicking Image Mode CMYK. Your ink saturation is now at or below 250%.
In Photoshop, you can spot check the ink coverage of individual pixels. Choose Window Info to display the Info panel. In the Info panel menu, choose Panel Options, and change the Second Color Readout Mode to Total Ink. This will display the total ink percentage for the area under your cursor.
