hi jim at faster motors id like to go over the correct way to do the whats called the 602 carb measurement which is one common area that we often see failure unfortunately we see failures for this measurement when there shouldnt be the reason being is that sometimes people are misinformed about how to use the gauge they have no experience they havent been to a tech class they may just be some guy that the local track said could you be my tech man that doesnt know anything about how to do this properly the real problem as i see it is failing somebody that should not be failed because its done wrong i dont want to step on anybodys toes but it happens far too often okay so the the correct tool for doing this gauge at the present time is this 602 t-handle gauge and the the customer slide or in my case i have my own slide that i put on a end of a screw and the real trick to doing this correctly is to make sure you put the gauge in perfectly straight up and down north and south east
