okay then here they are so you can see we have four different parts here the first part is your domain so the bit before the at symbol for example the boss okay next we have the at symbol then the second main part is the domain for example the net ninja or Gmail or whatever email you use so it will be the boss at the net ninja then we have the dot after the domain then the third main part is the extension so for example calm or OGG or in our case code so we also have a fourth optional part which is another dot and then the extension again so dot uk so sometimes the extension is one word like comma dog and sometimes is two words like Co dot uk this second part of the extension here number four that is going to be optional right this is going to be compulsory because they all have at least one extension like com or something like that but this second one is going to be optional dot something else so the first part right here your name this can be any letters numbers dots and all hyphe

Regular Expression by RFC 5322 for Email Validation Instead of writing a custom regex to validate email addresses, we can use one provided by the RFC standards. The RFC 5322, which is an updated version of RFC 822, provides a regular expression for email validation.
Dont use regexes for validating emails, unless you have a good reason not to. Use a verification mail instead. In most cases, a regex that simply checks that the string contains an @ is enough.
Please do NOT use regex to validate email addresses. Youre almost certainly guaranteed to get it wrong, as the RFCs for what constitutes a valid email address are extremely complex.
Its important to understand that every valid email must contain an @ symbol before the domain. An invalid email address will likely have spelling or formatting errors in the local part of the email or a dead domain name.
The best and most recommended ways to verify an email address without sending an email are: Email verifier tools: Use an email verification service to check if the given address is valid or not. Just google Email Verifier, and many free and paid options will come up.
To get a valid email id we use a regular expression /^[a-zA-Z0-9.!#$%*+/=?^`{|}~-]+@[a-zA-Z0-9-]+(?:\.[a-zA-Z0-9-]+)*$/.
[A-Z]{2,4}\b as the regex for email addresses in its introduction. Theres only one little difference between this regex and the one at the top of this page. The 4 at the end of the regex restricts the top-level domain to 4 characters.
A valid email address has four parts: Recipient name. @ symbol. Domain name.Domain name Uppercase and lowercase letters in English (A-Z, a-z) Digits from 0 to 9. A hyphen (-) A period (.) (used to identify a sub-domain; for example, email. domainsample)
Double opt-in is the best way to validate email addresses. If your customers sign up for your email list or newsletter, send them an email that requests them to validate by responding. Many people dont like this option, as it may reduce your overall opt-in rates, but we believe it is better to have good data.
The best all-around regex to find valid email addresses allows Latin characters (a - z or A - Z) within the email address. permits digits (0 - 9) in the email address. enforces domain part restrictions. allows hyphens (-) inside the domain as long as they dont lead or trail the domain.
