when creating a Google Form I always recommend that you ask for the email address what is your email address now dont freak out Google Forms uses artificial intelligence to read your question and make predictions so it says hey this should be a short answer and it says you know I noticed youre using the word email do you want to enable email collection go ahead and set click on that and youll notice its now automatically collecting the email address and it seems like its the same thing but its slightly different I think this is better than asking it in its own question if you click on change settings youll notice that opens up the forum settings and youll notice that it says collect email addresses is now checked so it really doesnt matter if you add your own question or if you have it automatically collect it but I do think it is a little bit better to have it automatically collect
