To indent using the Indent shortcut buttons: Select the text you want to indent. Click the Increase indent shortcut button to increase the indent by increments of a half-inch. All lines of the paragraph will indent. Click the Decrease indent shortcut button to decrease the indent by increments of a half-inch.
Select a range or array you want to add indentation. Go to the Format tab Number Custom number format. Click the text box at the top of the pop-up window. Press the Space until the number of spaces you want to insert is added (e.g., two times).

Each time you press the Spacebar key while holding down Shift, the text will be indented one space. You can also use the Indent button on the Home tab of the Ribbon to indent text. To do this, simply select the cells that you want to indent and then click the Indent button.
Select all of the text in the text box, right-click it, and click Paragraph. Select the line spacing you want. Tip: You can also tighten the text by reducing the font size.
