hows it going everybody matt here call sign victor alpha one mike romeo tango doing a quick little video buddy of mine gordy v1gb is headed off to any ganeshas about 50 miles away and he does not have enough coverage to hit our local repeater here v10 just outside of st peters so what i thought id do is since im able to hit the repeater in any conditional problem from where im at since i got my base station set up on a tower and its about 30 feet up and i can hit that repeater no issue without with 5 watts id set up the 300 here and cross band repeat so as you can see i have the v1 rti repeater on 146 820 on the a band and on the b band i have 445.00 just the simplex uhf frequency i have it set to 5 watts i also have the rti repeater set to 5 watts and thats thats going to be more than enough so when im in the house on my handheld i can just transmit on uhf and itll be rebroadcasted on vhf and ill be able to hit that repeater no problem but to get into that option were go
