(upbeat music) Number one, the AGGREGATE function. The AGGREGATE function allows you to summarize values and it gives you the ability to ignore error values, as well as hidden cells. So for example, here I have date, transaction number, account and amount. What happens if I sum the amount column? Lets use Control + Shift + down to select the whole range, close bracket, press Enter, I get an error. Why? Because I have an error in there. With the AGGREGATE function, I get to ignore errors. Just start off with AGGREGATE, then you get a lot of choices for the type of aggregation you want to do. In this case, I want to sum, so Im going to go with nine. Next, I get my ignore options. I can ignore hidden rows, ignore error values, ignore hidden rows, error values and nested SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions

How to Change the Default Owner Name for Microsoft Excel Open Excel, click File and then Options. Click the General tab from the left pane. Enter your business name in the User name field of the Personalize Your Copy of Microsoft Office section. Click OK.

Sign out of Office and sign back in Open an Office app, such as Word. Select your name and profile picture or icon at the top. Select Sign out. Select Sign in. Make sure you are signed in with your Work or School account, not your personal Microsoft account. Try activating Microsoft 365 again.
You can use Excels built-in formats and formulas to help you with your accounting. Highlight the cells youre working with then left-click on them so you can bring up a menu. Choose the Format option and choose Accounting under the Number tab.
