okay in todays video im going to show you how to unzip and zip files with um with a batch script or a batch file so uh this is very useful when you want to automate tasks you could zip files and unzip them with a gui or the graphic user interface but you really cant automate that so thats not very useful so if i wanted to zip all these files i can by using the gui like this i can send it to compressed ill call it zipped file and everything i just highlighted is in that zip file and if i wanted to send it to another folder i can do that but that is something you cannot automate so thats the limitations of using the gui so today im going to show you how to do that with a batch script which is more efficient so just go to uh notepad start a notepad like that and what i want to do is i want to zip all the files here and send it to a folder called test on d drive send it to this folder right here test on d drive okay so all the resources i got um can be found on these on this websit
