To copy styles from one document to another in Word, we open the document that we want to update and in the Styles section, we click on the little arrow in the bottom right corner of the section. Then we click on the Manage Styles button and here we click on Import/Export. On the right side of this window we click on Close File and then on Open file. In the windows explorer we have to deactivate the filter, so that all Word files are allowed and then we search for and open the document that we want to copy the styles FROM. In the list, we either select specific single styles or we select all styles, by clicking on the first one, holding down the SHIFT key, clicking on the last one and then releasing the SHIFT key. Afterwards we click on Copy and Yes to All, to overwrite the styles in the current document. As you can see, the styles have now been updated.
