This video shows how to copy a URL from a website and enter it in a Canvas assignment that has the website URL as a submission option. The website that I have selected is a publicly available course on the Canvas server canvas.instructure.com. To select the URL I click in the location bar for the browser, make sure that all of the text is selected, and then either use the keyboard command (Ctrl+C) to copy it or I can right-click on the text that is selected and choose Copy. Inside Canvas, for an assignment that has website URL as an option for submission, I click the Submit Assignment button and in the Website URL field I can right-click and choose Paste or I can use the keyboard command (Ctrl+V). If I wish I can type any comments and then click the button to Submit Assignment. After submission the webpage refreshes to show a receipt saying that I have successfully submitted it.
