hello this is alex from cables.gl id like to show you the copy texture operator this operator we talked a bit a bit about in this weeks weekly meetup on discord and its it was quite essential in creating some very wild and interesting effects that we were discussing but i realized that maybe showing you the basics and the exact controls of the copy texture is also going to be quite useful in the future as we cover those special effects more in depth and what were going to do is look at the example file that comes with copy texture so if you place down the copy texture operator in your project you can click this view example link and open this same exact patch and i want to show you this patch because its quite nice and basic and it shows us quite an essential feature or kind of um i wouldnt call it a gimmick but like the way the copy texture works and why um its important to not exactly think of it as a texture buffer which is uh something else which we can cover in another vid
