Hi! This is Alex from When I Work. Today Im going to show managers how to copy shifts and schedules to save time and ensure you have the schedule coverage that you need. Lets get started. To copy a shift in day or week view hold the ctrl key on PC or command key on Mac then click and drag the shifts you want to copy to any cell. You can see a thumbs-up or thumbs-down indicator showing whos qualified and available for that shift. This allows you to build out your daily coverage or an employees weekly schedule in seconds, saving a tremendous amount of time and improving workflow. Please note that you cannot copy shifts in month view. Suppose your coverage is fairly consistent day to day. You can save time by copying the schedule from the previous day. From the scheduler, click day to view one day at a time. Use the calendar or arrows to navigate to the day to which you want to copy the previous days schedule.
