okay so I have a scene here in substance painter where Iamp;#39;ve loaded up a a plane that is being UV mapped so that a tiling texture repeats three times across the horizontal and vertical uh and then Iamp;#39;ve added a fill layer and into the fill layer Iamp;#39;ve dropped my base color my roughness and my normal uh and so now I want to add uh a paint layer by clicking on that paint brush up in the top left hand corner and I want to set my base color to pass through and then I also want to do the same thing for the roughness which we set to pass through and the normal we set that to pass through and you need to do that for each uh layer that you want to clone so if you donamp;#39;t set up say the normal layer to pass through when you use the Clone tool it wonamp;#39;t clone it so if we go back to our base color right here uh and we can now select our clone tool over on the left there and if we zoom in on our texture a little uh we can set our source uh by just pressing V on th
