To copy the actual value instead of the formula from the cell to another worksheet or workbook, you can convert the formula in its cell to its value by doing the following: Press F2 to edit the cell. Press F9, and then press ENTER.
Answer: Select the cell(s) that contains the data to copy. Drag the fill handle across the cells to fill and release the mouse button. Existing values or formulas in the cells you fill are replaced and formatting is copied. To quickly fill in the active cell with the contents of the cell above it, press CTRL+D.
Click Home Find Select, and pick Go To Special. Click Visible cells only OK. Click Copy (or press Ctrl+C).
To do this, go to the Formulas tab in the ribbon, and click on Calculation Options. Make sure that Automatic is selected. Show Formulas mode: Check if you have accidentally turned on the Show Formulas mode. This mode displays the formula in each cell instead of the calculated result.
The steps to only paste values in Excel follow below: Select the cell(s) with formulas and press Ctrl + C to copy them. Select the destination range. Press Excels paste values shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + V, then V. Press Enter.
Step 2: Press Ctrl + C or right-click and choose Copy to copy the cells. Step 3: Right-click on a different cell and select Paste Special from the context menu. Step 4: In the Paste Special dialog box, choose Values and click OK. This will paste the values from the copied cells without any formulas.
Press Ctrl + C to copy the formula. Select a cell or a range of cells where you want to paste the formula (to select non-adjacent ranges, press and hold the Ctrl key). Press Ctrl + V to paste the formula. Press Enter to complete the pasted formulas.
Select the cells that contain the data or other attributes that you want to copy. Click the first cell in the area where you want to paste what you copied. On the Home tab, click the arrow next to Paste, and then select Paste Special. Select the options you want.
