To select text, double-tap a paragraph. A pair of pins will appear; the one with the blue ball on top is the starting selection point and the one with the blue ball on the bottom is the ending selection point. Drag one or both pins to select the text you need.
In the Photos app on your Mac, open a photo. Control-click the photo, then choose Copy Subject. As you move the pointer over Copy Subject, the photos background dims and an outline appears around the subject. You can now paste the subject into a document, email, text message or note.
Press Ctrl+A on your keyboard to select all text in the document.
Press Ctrl and A together. This shortcut will highlight all of the text in your document.
To select all of a document go to Edit Select All. All of your text, index cards, scenes in Scene View or Beats on the Beat Board will be highlighted. The Select All feature performs the same function as Command + A (Mac) or Ctrl + A (PC) on the keyboard.
