Stains: Put a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cloth and rub away the stains. Use a clean white cloth to prevent dirt and color from transferring onto the cover. Repeat the process on heavily stained areas. Smudges: Use an eraser to remove pencil marks and other smudges.
Dilute one part white distilled vinegar with one part water. In a bowl, mix 12 c (120 mL) of white vinegar with 12 c (120 mL) of water. Most other types of vinegar can stain paper, so be sure the vinegar you use is completely clear. White vinegar can remove other pigmented stains like ink, grass, or mustard.
Any coffee works for paper staining. Popular options include: instant coffee, ground coffee and used coffee pucks. Instant coffee dissolves quickly and provides a darker shade of coffee liquid. If youre going for a lighter shade, you can simply dilute your coffee liquid down or use lesser instant coffee granules.
Make a mixture of water and white vinegar in a ratio of 3:1. Mix it in a bowl large enough to submerge the stain on the paper. Soak the stained paper in the vinegar solution for a few seconds. Remove the paper, and allow it to dry on a clean towel.
presoak the stain in a solution of 1 quart warm water, teaspoon dishwashing detergent (not laundry detergent) and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar for 15 minutes. rinse the stained area with warm water. use a sponge and rubbing alcohol to blot up any remaining stain. rinse the fabric again with warm water.
A mixture of salt and rubbing alcohol can also be effective for removing coffee stains from paper. To use this method, mix equal parts salt and rubbing alcohol in a bowl. Dip a cotton ball into the mixture and gently rub the coffee stain. Repeat this process until the stain is removed.
1. Dots are typically caused by foreign material inside the machine (for example paper dust, glue from labels or envelopes, paper clips, staples) sticking to or damaging the surface of the drum. Toner builds up on or sticks to these areas on the drum and creates black dots on the printed pages. 2.
