Did you know you can move and copy items within the Direct Select dock? A Direct Select dock can be assigned to any screen and has buttons for different types of data. Sometimes those types of data can be copied, or moved, directly within this dock. I am going to make this a full screen, and just so that we have lots of available space I am going to make 100 buttons of my groups and we are going to move and copy some groups around. You can also do this for pallets. For any type of data that you can arrange, you will see an {Arrange} button appear in that section of the Direct Select dock. If you cannot arrange them, no button is there. Very simply, if I want to move some groups around, I hit {Arrange}. Now you can see that all of the occupied spaces in other words, recorded groups in this show file are highlighted in red.
