hey there its John from Excel campus and in this video Im going to share a few quick tips for moving or copying sheets between workbooks so here we have two workbooks and lets say we want to move this sheet or copy this sheet over to this workbook over here now typically you might go through the right-click menu here and then choose move or copy but you can actually do this with a very simple drag-and-drop so Im just going to left-click and hold this sheet tab and then oops left-click and hold there we go and then drag it over to this workbook here as you can see I can just drop it right there and thats going to move the sheet into this workbook now if you didnt want to move it you want to copy it instead Ill first move it back so well just move back over to this workbook here and Im gonna do the same thing Im gonna left click and hold but now Im gonna hold down the ctrl key youll see a little plus symbol come up there in the sheet tab icon the mouse cursor icon and then I
