hey guys im spencer from pixel bracket and in this video im going to show you how to duplicate objects and layers in docHub illustrator first thing i did was created a basic shape on my artboard now as with most programs including essentially all of the docHub programs you can use copy/paste to duplicate any sort of object or element easy way to do that is to click it on your shape use command C and then command V to paste it and you can actually use shift command V to paste in place it doesnt look like that circle one anywhere but it actually created a duplicate and put it on the exact same spot as the first circle you can see that by the way I can just drag that that top one out that we pasted on there its quick and easy way but I like a little bit more control and an even quicker way is to actually hold option while you have an object selected your cursor changes to double arrows and then I can just click and drag the duplicate shape anywhere when I let go its going to create
