often when working with shapes youll find that you need to duplicate a shape rather fast maybe you need two or three of the same shape to illustrate a point to do that quickly the best thing to do is use the keyboard first select the shape you wish to duplicate thats step one step two is use the keyboard shortcut ctrl + d that creates an exact duplicate let me do that again so now I have to I can now drag the shapes out and place them wherever I want them to be in my document and I have three identical shapes
